About Me

Hi everyone, I’m Lindsay! I completed my Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at Texas State University in San Marcos. During my time at Texas State, I was able to participate in a wide variety of nutrition related activities such as tutoring students in Nutrition Sciences, conduct research and write a review paper on PhIPs impact on cancer, and work in food service at a retirement home.

After I graduated, I attended Teachers College Columbia University in New York in order to obtain my Masters of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology. Through this program I was able to explore my passion for sports nutrition by counseling individually and providing nutrition education sessions for division 1 athletes at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY. Currently I am doing my dietetic internship through Teachers College! Once completed I will be sitting down for my RD exam and on to my first real job as a registered dietitian.
